Fresh off a successful year full of recognition and awards, the Kia Soul is back for 2011 with added features and options.  West Herr Subaru Kia, the first choice for Buffalo Kia shoppers, has the 2011 Kia Soul in Buffalo today.

The Kia Soul made an excellent impression with its debut in 2010.  It was included among the “Top Ten Small Cars for Under $20K” from Top Speed.  It added an “Automotive Excellence Award” from Popular Mechanics and a “Best Buy” award from Consumers Digest.  The Soul also received praise from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, being chosen as a “Top Safety Pick.”

2011 Kia Soul in Buffalo: Features & Options

For the new model year, four trims of the Soul are available: the base Soul, Soul +, Soul !, and Soul sport.

Two engines will be available for 2011 as well: a 1.6-liter, 122-horsepower I-4 in the base model and a 2.0-liter, 142-horsepower I-4 in the three other trims.  The Soul +, Soul !, and Soul sport will get an EPA-estimated 24 mpg during city driving and 30 mpg on the highway.  The base Soul will use its efficient engine to achieve even better fuel economy with 26 mpg city and 31 mpg highway.

The Soul packs plenty of extra features and options in its four trims.

Power windows, power locks, and USB and auxiliary inputs are standard on all trims.  All but the base model include remote keyless entry, wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls and Bluetooth wireless connectivity standard.  Drivers can also add on the Audio Upgrade Package and Premium Package for an even more personalized ride with enhanced audio and heated leather seats.

Of course, what sets the Soul off from the crowd most is its unique, youthful styling.  Black interior trim and cloth seats come on the base, while the Soul + adds Soul logo inserts.  The Soul ! features sand and black interior with matching seats.  Finally, the Soul sport comes with red and black interior trim with red sport cloth seat inserts.  Outside the Soul will turn heads with modern design elements not seen on any other vehicle.
